Responsibilities

As a Community Manager, you will work remotely with a high degree of independence. Your primary tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Providing support to users through community forums, email, chat and social media
  • Assisting with the configuration, troubleshooting and use of our software
  • Ensuring that users have a smooth and positive experience with our software
  • Writing and updating knowledge base articles and other end-user documentation
  • Helping our team understand user needs and prioritize issues

Depending on your communication skills and experience, you may also be responsible for managing our social media accounts to increase our visibility and inform our followers about new features and releases.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate fluently in English
  • Ability to share technical knowledge and information with others
  • Basic understanding of Linux, Docker and experience with software configuration
  • A proactive and solution-oriented approach to end-user issues

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and other languages
  • Experience with a programming language such as Go, JavaScript or Python
  • Experience with cloud technologies and working with developer communities
  • Experience speaking at tech conferences, writing technical articles, or working on an open source project
